All our activities are carried out to serve the wider community as component parts of a holistic Christian ministry. Click on the title of each section summarised below for more information.
The Conference centre now has four conference halls, the largest seating up to 250 people. Residential accommodation for up to 100 guests, ranges from standard to superior en suite rooms. Fresh produce from our farm and community are used to prepare nutritious meals which can be provided on a full or part board basis.
The Agricultural Training Centre currently provides modules of one week duration in a range of subjects particularly relevant to small scale farming in the semi arid areas. Courses can be arranged for any group of five or more participants. A one year Certificate course for farming in semi arid areas will be offered later.
The Centre farm has pure and cross bred dairy cattle and dairy goats, particularly suited to the semi arid areas. Poultry and beekeeping are also used for production and training purposes.
The farm specialises in crop production suited to the semi arid areas. This includes field crops, vegetables and fruit grown under either dryland conditions or utilising various methods of irrigation.
The tree nursery produces quality assured seedlings for local farmers and for export as well as training in all aspects of grafting, budding and general tree nursery management.

Torok Falls is a 200 metre high waterfall only accessible on foot. Guided tours are available. Click on the heading below for more information
Cheploch Gorge is a spectacular deep gorge and popular local attraction. The Kerio river flows through the gorge and crocodiles can often be seen on the river bank. Local young men put on a daily spectacular diving display.
Remoi Game Reserve Within easy reach of the Cheptebo Centre, Remoi Game Reserve is one of Kenya's best kept secrets! Home to a large herd of some of Kenya's largest elephants, buffalo and other species can also be seen.
The Gospel of the Lord, Jesus Christ is central to all our activities. Pr Walter Kimutai is Centre chaplain and directs this ministry. Staff prayers are held each morning and all groups using the Centre are encouraged to begin each day with devotions led by one of the Centre's staff. Schools and youth ministry is an important part of the Centre's outreach and a weekly Sunday service is held at AIC Kapsang, which is situated within the Centre compound.
