The Cheptebo Centre has had the honour of hosting the official launch of the FAO ( Food and Agricultural Organisation of the UN) sponsored African Forest Landscape Restoration Initiative. FAO Project Coordinator Jhony Zapata joined County leaders to officiate at the ceremony.
This is a 5.5M USD, three year programme covering Elgeyo Marakwet and Baringo Counties. As part of the programme, about 2,000 farmers will receive training at Cheptebo over a three year period.

 We are delighted to announce that Cheptebo Agricultural Training and Innovation Centre (CATIC) has now been Registered and Accredited as a Vocational Training Center by the TECHNICAL AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING AUTHORITY (TVETA). Fully accredited one- year agricultural training courses are planned to begin in May 2025

In June of this year Cheptebo Conference Centre was awarded a Bronze Certificate of Accreditation by Kenya Tourism Regulatory Authority. This certification recognises the quality and excellence of our conference facilities and we congratulate our management and staff for their hard work and dedication in earning this recognition.
