Spiritual Ministries at Cheptebo

AIC Kapsang meets each Sunday morning from 10.30am to 1.00pm for our worship service. We also meet each Thursday for Prayer and Bible Study from 3.30pm until 5.00pm.  All are warmly invited to join with us for these services

A.I.C Kapsang is situated within the Centre and is used by the community and AIC District for church services. Church groups visiting the centre meet in the Church for retreats and prayers. Individuals and small groups may also use the facilities for times of  extended prayer and fasting.

Pastor Walter Kimutai leads the spiritual ministries programme at the Centre where he is Pastor at AIC Kapsang and Chaplain to the Centre. He is available to assist all groups visiting the centre and to meet with any member of staff or visitor who requires personal spiritual counseling. Pastor Walter or another senior staff member will normally lead morning devotions for visiting groups.

Pastor Walter Kimutai

We believe that genuine transformational development in the community is possible only when individuals come into a personal relationship with God through his Son, Jesus Christ.  Cheptebo Centre's spiritual ministries  therefore have an input into every component of all the Centre’s activities and, in partnership with the Church, seeks to fulfil the Lord's Great Commission as defined in Matthew 28:19, 20.

Each morning all Cheptebo staff and visitors have a time for devotions before the day’s activities begin. Once a month all staff meet for an hour of intercessory prayer for Centre activities, families, world evangelization, missions and nations. We also give out Gospel tracts to groups attending seminars and workshops. Through these activities we desire that all staff and visitors have an opportunity to hear and respond to the Word of God.

Annually, the Centre hosts an A.I.C Regional Pastors Conferencein in conjunction with Keiyo Soy Ministries International This event brings together over 70 pastors serving over 110 Churches.  International and national speakers are invited to this  important conference where pastors are refreshed and strengthened. Together with A.I.C Cheptebo D.C.C various activities are organized throughout the year. This includes training seminars, workshops, camps and rallies for youth, men and women.
